Most every American family would agree that distractions are a big problem when seeking to cultivate intimate family unity. Electronic devices, social media, school clubs, athletic practices, even youth group, church attendance, and service opportunities can all distract a family from deep community under the headship of Christ.

Maranatha Bible Camp is a place to get away from the distractions of daily living to quiet down, hear God speak, and make life-changing decisions. Our Family Camp is specifically designed to give families a place to spend time having fun and learning together without the usual distractions of daily life.

Parents don’t have to cook, clean, or provide entertainment.  Kids have the space to run, swim, play, and learn outdoor skills.  Everyone is given the opportunity to worship God and learn more about Him together and with like-minded families.

We hope you’ll consider a meaningful vacation at Maranatha Bible Camp.

“Our family has loved going to Family Camp the past three summers! The kids ask each year if we’ll be able to go back. They especially love that we get to be outdoors together and eat all our meals together all week. It’s so great to be able to just spend time together without all the electronic distractions. Last summer, my husband and son got to go fishing together. A first for both! They loved it so much, that they went back every afternoon the rest of the week while our girls and I spent the afternoons playing on the waterfront and climbing the rock wall.”

“Our family really enjoyed going to Family Camp the past 2 years. It was great to get away from the busyness of everyday life and to have a break from technology. We loved being able to spend so much time outdoors together, and that there were activities to interest all of us – from our daughter who loves crafts – to our boys who enjoyed all the water activities – to afternoon free time for dad and mom to relax or maybe even catch a nap. And did I mention no cooking?!”
