A New Year and a New Adventure!

In January 2017, I joined full time staff at Maranatha Bible Camp as an IT & AV Specialist. This is a support-based position, which means I partially rely on gifts from generous donors in order to receive my salary.

What Does the IT& AV Specialist Do?

I get to help camp staff do their jobs better and help campers enjoy their stay by keeping computer systems, networks, wireless internet, website, and Audio Video Systems working smoothly.

Why Maranatha?

I am excited for this opportunity to work for a quality organization with Christ-centered values. Maranatha is a non-denominational Christian Camp situated on 306 acres. The camp exists to glorify God by introducing people to Jesus as savior, training them in Christian living, and sending them out to represent Christ to the world. On campus are several recreational areas (including a swimming pool and a 40 acre lake) and over 50 buildings (including a conference center/gymnasium/dining hall/chapel/kitchen, dormitories, motel-style buildings, and small cabins). Each year, Maranatha hosts nearly 10,000 guests of all ages, giving them a place to connect with God and make life-changing decisions.

How Can I Support Matt?

Maranatha offers a stipend, housing, and benefits valued at a total of $1750 per month which is roughly half of my current monthly needs.  I currently have a goal of raising $4000 which will allow me to continue working at camp through the end of summer!

Would you partner with me and Maranatha Bible Camp today by making a special gift toward our goal of $4000?
