Humans are hardwired with a personal story designed and written by the Master of the Universe. Stories ignite our imagination and help us make sense of the struggles each and every one of us face. It’s important to know our own story and be able to pass it on to others. God has also given us His story, written in the Bible and passed on to us.

This Retreat will begin an epic journey to see our stories as significant and begin to understand how God’s story can be interwoven with our own, creating in and through us: A GREATER STORY.

Psalm 107:2- Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.

Josh Luse

Hey I’m Josh, and I’m a pretty normal guy but I believe the greatest adventures can come to ordinary people who are sold out for Jesus. From sleeping in a tribal hut in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, to riding in a rickshaw in India, to screaming at the top of my lungs for the Huskers in Memorial Stadium, normal days have become an adventure with God. A few weird and cool facts to get to know me, I’ve eaten a live earthworm, I’m a pastor, I got my first cavity last year, I have 7 brothers and sisters, I was born in an apartment, I met the most amazing woman named Julie in college and married her, I have three completely rad kids and a slobbery boxer named Harlow, and I can’t wait to hang to hang out with you at the Winter Retreat!
