He pastors Kairos\, a ministry that focuses on reaching Gen Z and millennials. He received his B.A. in Christian Education at Northwestern College\, St. Paul\, Minnesota and then earned his Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis\, Tennessee. He earned his PhD in Applied Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike planted The Gospel Church in Nashville TN and pastored it for 14 years. He is on the board of Middle East Ministries. He is married to Tabitha Harder and they have four children.
