As Christians\, we are called to live with #NoFilter\, embodying boldness\, truth\, and authenticity in all aspects of our lives. A significant portion of his life\, education\, and ministry has been spent in Oklahoma\, Texas\, and Colorado. From those home base locations\, David has traveled abroad to such places as London\, Costa Rica\, Nicaragua\, Addis Abba\, and Canada to share the gospel with youth and college students. His biblical training and degree in marketing have made him God-wise and street savvy as a pastor\, discipler\, and speaker. \nAnd one more thing. If you can’t find David at the church or gym\, you may want to try an online gaming platform later in the evening. DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Caroline Russel\nCaroline Russel is a child of God\, a wife to a loving husband\, and mother to three fearfully and wonderfully made children. She taught special education primarily to students with severe behavior and emotional disabilities for several years prior to the Lord guiding her to be a full-time wife and mama. One of the ways God has used\, and continues to use Caroline is through her testimony. God has carried her through traumatic life experiences that have strengthened her relationship with Christ\, and has healed the brokenness that came from sin and trauma. This summer is going to challenge you to evaluate and consider if those decisions you make everyday are built and strengthened on God’s Word. Do you truly believe you can build your life on Him? Do you truly believe you can take scripture as straight up truth\, FACTS… NO CAP! Because of who God is and what Christ has done for us\, we can KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt how we can have true life and allow our lives to rest upon that foundation. But the real question is\, will we? In a world full of lies\, who\, what\, where will YOU find Truth? \n1 John 5:13I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God\, so that you may know you have eternal life. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Speaker: Jesse Wyrick\nJesse Wyrick is the Youth Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Windsor\, Colorado. I am so excited to be a part of what God is doing in and around teenagers. I would love to introduce you to the Savior and life that has given me purpose\, passion\, and eternal pursuit. Let’s get to know Jesus Christ together through God’s Word\, the Bible\, and His people\, the Church. \n“I have been married to my wife Ashley (who currently has blue hair\, but stand by for continuing changes) since 2009 and we have two kiddos Abby\, 12\, and Parker\, 9. Growing up in a broken home\, he always lacked the feeling of being loved. He grew up in church and believed in God all his life. But such a love was tested when he an his little brother were placed in foster care at the age of 14 and 9. What could have been a train-wreck\, God used for his good. Mari’s foster-dad\, within the first week of his placement had made a life changing decision to allow Mari to learn how to play his guitar. But that was only the beginning of this anointed musician. Mari is now a worship leader and youth minister who travels the country. He still leads worship at his home church\, Bridge of Hope Fellowship in Hopkinsville\, KY. When you hear him lead in worship and listen to him speak\, it is evident that God strategically anointed him for the ministry he is in. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Nothing else like it…\nJunior High students have the opportunity to unplug from electronic devices and busy schedules to focus on teamwork and communication while engaging in unique outdoor activities that challenge their limits. \nMaranatha cabin leaders serve as excellent role models that help campers wrestle with faith questions and strengthen Biblical understanding. Campers in this age group will develop a clearer sense of how God has made them individually\, allowing them to consider their identity in a critical time in their personal development as a Christ-follower. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register for CampRegister by clicking the button below! DESCRIPTION:SLANG DICTIONARY“No Cap” [noh khap]THE EXPRESSION NO CAP IS SLANG MEANING “NO LIE” OR “FOR REAL\,” OFTEN USED TO EMPHASIZE SOMEONE IS NOT EXAGGERATING ABOUT SOMETHING HARD TO BELIEVE. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Facts\, No Cap\nEvery day we decide who we are going to live for\, what we are going to actively believe\, and where we are going look for guidance. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register for CampRegister by clicking the button below! He has developed several ministry programs\, and consults and trains with youth ministries to encourage students to be empowered through leadership\, discipleship and their creative God-given gifts. He has shared his passion and perception of youth ministry with leaders at organizations such as Google\, Stuff You Can Use\, Dare 2Share Ministries and Center for Youth Ministry Training. Jerrod Gunter is the Next Generation Pastor at New Direction Christian Church in Memphis\, Tennessee. At New Direction\, Jerrod initiated a youth movement called “RiotStarters” which equips students to take prayer and evangelism to their schools and communities. But that was only the beginning of this anointed musician.Mari is now a worship leader and youth minister who travels the country. SUMMARY:Women's Retreat 2023
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes the place we find ourselves is not where we imagined our life would take us. Inevitably\, our path takes unforeseen twists and turns\, sometimes very tragic ones. God comes to find us behind the walls we erect for our self-protection. Our pride\, busyness\, and hurt can prevent us from being found and brought back into a place of intimacy and fullness. Scripture is full of stories not unlike our own. When we gather together at the Women’s Retreat  we are going to look at a very unlikely character from scripture. We will explore principles that we can apply in our lives. Together\, we will search our hearts and ask God’s Spirit to speak life into spaces that need to be renewed.
