SUMMARY:Women's Retreat 2023
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes the place we find ourselves is not where we imagined our life would take us. Inevitably\, our path takes unforeseen twists and turns\, sometimes very tragic ones. God comes to find us behind the walls we erect for our self-protection. Our pride\, busyness\, and hurt can prevent us from being found and brought back into a place of intimacy and fullness. Scripture is full of stories not unlike our own. When we gather together at the Women’s Retreat  we are going to look at a very unlikely character from scripture. We will explore principles that we can apply in our lives. Together\, we will search our hearts and ask God’s Spirit to speak life into spaces that need to be renewed. I hope you will join us! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Speaker: Lesli Thompson\nLesli Thompson is wife to Jeff\, mother & teacher to her 5 kids (Ella\, Elijah\, Ezra\, Emerson\, Emery)\, and encourager and counselor to many.  Lesli serves as the Director of the ReGeneration ministry (regenerationrecovery.org) at Midlothian Bible Church.  Her passion is to see people come out of hiding and into healing through recovery in Christ.  When she needs to recharge\, Lesli enjoys all things coffee\, historical fiction\, endless walks\, and baking not out of necessity! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register\n Registration opens July 3rd! \nMotel-Style (private restroom\, linens provided) – $175Dorm-Style (hall reastroom\, bring linens) – $150Commute (no lodging) – $95 \n \n \n \n Register Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Schedule\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Friday \n4:00- 6:00pm- Check in \n6:00pm – Dinner \n7:00 pm – Session I \n8:30pm  – Evening Free Time and Activity \n\n  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Saturday \n8:30am – Breakfast \n9:30am  – Session II \n12:00pm – Lunch \n1:30pm – workshops and free time \nOptions:hiking trails\, disc golf\, coffee shop\, kayaks and canoes\, hot tub\, gym open\, mini golf\, board games \n6:00pm – Dinner \n7:00pm – Session III \n8:30pm – Evening Free Time and Activity \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sunday \n8:30am – Breakfast \n9:30am – Session IV \n11:00am – Pack up \n12:00pm – Lunch/ Check-Out

They are excited to serve together and learn all about how God sees us!  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n 2022 Theme\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register for Junior CampPrice is $340 per camper for all days and nights\, or $50/day (no overnight) \nNote: Check-in is from 1-3pm \n Registration is Closed\n \n \n \n \n \n (View Scholarship Info & FAQs) \nEvent Staff Registration (Program Staff\, Cabin Leaders\, and Volunteers) \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Schedule\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Monday June 27\n\n1-3pm Check-in\n4pm Chapel\n5pm Dinner\n5:30pm Gym Free Time\n6-7:30pm Opening Chapel/Worship\n8pm Sweet Shop\n9:30pm Get ready for bed/Devo\n10pm Lights out\n\nTuesday June 28\n\n8am Breakfast\n8:30-9:30am Morning Chapel/Worship\n10am Rotating Activities\n12pm  Lunch\n12:30pm Rest/Break\n1:30pm Activity Choice Time\n4:30pm Get Ready for Dinner\n5pm Dinner\n5:30pm Gym Free Time\n6pm Evening Chapel/Worship\n7:30pm Sweet Shop/Capture the Flag\n9:30pm Get ready for bed/Devo\n10:00pm Lights out\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Wednesday June 29\n\n8am Breakfast\n8:30am Morning Chapel/Worship\n10am Rotating Activities\n12pm  Lunch\n12:30pm Rest/Break\n1:00pm Horseback riding $15\n1:30pm Mud Pit\n2:30pm Foam Wars\n3:30pm Shower/Rest Time\n4:30pm Get Ready for Dinner\n5pm Dinner\n5:30pm Gym Free Time\n6:30pm Evening Chapel/Worship\n7:30pm Sweet Shop/Skate Night\n9:30pm Get ready for bed/Devo\n10:30pm Lights out\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thursday June 30\n\n8am Breakfast\n8:30am Morning Chapel/Worship\n10am Rotating Activities\n12pm  Lunch\n12:30pm Rest/Break\n1:30pm Activity Choice Time\n4:30pm Get Ready for Dinner\n5pm Dinner\n5:30pm Gym Free Time\n6pm Evening Chapel/Worship\n7:30pm Scavenger Hunt\n8:30pm Sweet Shop\n9:30pm Get ready for bed/Devo\n10:30PM Lights out\n\nFriday July 1\n\n8am Breakfast\n8:30am Pack Up\n9am Final Worship (all together)\n9:30am Final Chapel/Worship\n10am Goodbyes/Movie\n12pm Lunch\n1pm Parents Pick-up\n\n

SUMMARY:Marriage Conference — Fall 2021
DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Roger & Brenda Daum\n Roger and Brenda have been married for over 47 years.  They have 4 children\, and 8 grandchildren.   \nRoger has been a pastor for 30 years\, serving in 3 churches in Nebraska. \nThe  Daum’s founded Restoration Ministries in Cozad\, NE. in 2006 and specialize in counseling and coaching couples\, individuals\, and families to help them strengthen relationships.  They also hold training seminars designed to help people resolve emotional and spiritual problems that hinder them from giving and receiving love as God intends\, as well as teaching people how to help others resolve issues that hinder relationships. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Program\nThere are four deep inner needs in everyone’s life and relationships including marriage.  There is a need for acceptance instead of rejection\, for security instead of insecurity\, for identity\, and for purpose in life.  How can we see these needs met in our lives and marriage and family relationships? \nRoger and Brenda will be teaching “Relational Needs? – We All Have Them?\, illustrated beautifully in an Old Testament love story found in the book of Ruth.  They will share how Jesus Christ can meet these needs and how marriages can be transformed as couples join the Lord Jesus in meeting these needs. \nRead more about the Relational Needs sessions here. \nYou can expect an excellent experience from our staff and the conference program : comfortable accommodations\, delicious food\, practical Bible teaching relevant to couples\, spiritual encouragement through songs of worship\, and stories of hope from other couples that are seeking God’s leading in their marriage. \n \nActivities\nWe have a host of optional activities available to you and your spouse\, such as Roller Skating\, Climbing Wall\, Coffee Shop\, Nature Trails\, and more. That being said\, sometimes the best activity is inactivity…so relax in our hot tub\, take a walk by the lake\, or sit by a campfire with a cup of hot chocolate. \n \nIf you are on any step of the journey of marriage\, we hope we see you here! \n \n \nPacking List\n\n \n Download Packing List\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Rates\nPrices are per-couple \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dorm\n Style-Housing\n \n \n $200\n \n \n Five MealsDorm-style roomShred hallway restroom\n \n Reserve Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Motel\n SOLD-OUT\n \n \n $290\n \n \n Five MealsMotel-Style RoomIn-room restroom\n \n SOLD OUT\n \n \n \n \n \n \n RV/Tent\n Bring Your Own\n \n \n $150\n \n \n Five MealsOn far side of campElectricity\n \n Reserve Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Commute\n No Lodging\n \n \n $100\n \n \n Five MealsNo lodging\n \n Reserve Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Schedule\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Friday\n4-6 PM – Registration \n6 PM – Dinner \n7:30 PM – Session 1 –  \n9:15 PM – hot tub\, coffee shop\, fire pit and smores (if it is warm enough)\, board games by fireplace\, volleyball available in gym \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Saturday\n8:30-9:30 AM – Breakfast (and zipline signup) \n9:30 AM – Session 2 \n11:00 AM – Quiet Waters  \n12:00 PM – Lunch  \n1:00 PM – Afternoon activities \n1:30-2:30 – Zipline (sign up at breakfast) \n1:00 – 2:00 – Toni and Richard? – Ministry couples chat – Cedar Room \nOther available activities: \nprayer walk\, hiking trails\, disc golf\, coffee shop\, hot tub\, gym open \n6:00 PM – Dinner Date \n7:00 PM – session 3 \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sunday\n8:30 – 9:30 AM – Breakfast \n9:30 AM – Session 4  \n10:45 – pack up \n11:30 AM – Lunch \n12:00 PM – Check-Out\, and see you next year!
