Director of Finance and Development

Summary:

Oversee our camp Finance, and Scholarships teams. Directly work on or head-up ad-hoc teams in Fundraising and Community Outreach efforts. Share in camp leadership with the team of Directors.

Summary:

Support and enhance existing camp operations in both HR administrative and compliance work for internal staff as well as volunteer relations.

HR Admin Job Description

Kitchen Manager

Summary:

Accomplish foodservice for camps and retreats ranging from 20-600 people, at Maranatha. Food safety, quantity, quality, nutrition, age-appropriateness, and waste reduction are all priorities in this position. You will oversee or complete the actual food production, but also run shift leads for a larger team in the summer months. Requires good communication, leadership (both work and spiritual), budgeting, ordering, and training. The service here enables the life-impact camp has, and is also highly-visible and colors the overall camp experience.

Commitment:

Fulltime (40 hrs/week, 40-65 hrs/week during peak summer season).

Note: Currently also available as a seasonal commitment from June – August. The summer benefits for this position including salary, our summer bonus, and a couple of stipends come in starting around $2,050 per month, plus meals available onsite for you and your immediate family, if applicable.

Maintenance Manager

Summary:

To serve the campers and guests in this Christ-centered environment we create called Maranatha Camp and Retreat Center. As a result, many will hear God speak and make decisions about salvation, discipleship and Christian service. Specifically, responsible to care and maintain facilities, infrastructure, equipment and the property, and by leading our Maintenance Team in direction and day-to-day operations.

Maintenance Team Member, Recreation Coordinator

Summary:

In the summer and immediately beforehand, serve to lead the seasonal Recreation Team and operations, around the rest of the year, function as a Maintenance Team Member.

Program Manager

Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Programs and Hospitality, the Program Manager leads the development and execution of a comprehensive, year-round ministry strategy. In partnership with the programming team, this role ensures that programs effectively engage Maranatha’s target audiences and reflect the mission, vision, and values of Maranatha Camp & Retreat Center.

Program Manager Job Description

Technology Manager

Summary:

To support the operations of the camp by overseeing all aspects of camp’s technology, including audiovisual, networking, web, workstations, servers, file storage/backup, and cybersecurity. Has support for some of these areas from other staff members. Background ministry work that is a part of the kingdom work taking place at camp.

Technology Manager Job Description

TnT (Teens In Training) Coordinator

Summary:

The Teens In Training Program encompasses a large variety of life skills and discipleship activities. This includes; Kitchen and guest services work, Bible Studies, fun outings, devotional times, one-on-one mentoring, and cabin times. In every activity, we want to incorporate Biblical truths that can benefit young people in their faith. The schedule varies week by week based on the group size and the needs of camp. This position is to coordinate and lead this program, and its staff and participants. 

Commitment:

The commitment for this position varies seasonally as described below.

End of May – Beginning of August: Fulltime (Approx 40-48 hrs/week) Lives on-site.
August – December: Part-time (Minimal, approx 4-6hrs/week)
January – Mid-May: Part-time (Varies, approx 4-12 hrs/week)
