Guest Groups Administrator

Summary:

To pursue, intake, and coordinate arrangements with Guest Groups up to the point of their arrival by means of excellent communication, persistence, and follow-through with both the Guest Group Contact and Maranatha Staff members. Provides all necessary and relevant details to the on-site group host. Follows-up with groups after their stay with evaluations, and pursues retention for future reservations.

Commitment:

Parttime remote. (Approx. 6 hrs/week, ranging from 2-12 hrs).

Finance Manager Job Description

SMT Coordinator

Summary:

Lead our Summer Ministry Team (SMT), our seasonal “missionaries” for the busy summer season. Includes recruiting, training, conflict-resolution, spiritual care, appreciation, and year-round communication for our SMT. Be a part of developing leaders that impact those around them at Maranatha, and who continue their kingdom work, even after their season(s) at camp. Other duties required in the non-summer months.

Commitment:

SMT Coordinator Job Description

Recreation Manager

Summary:

Oversee the recreational department staff, areas, equipment, and experience. Exhibit strong organizational ability with people, rec supplies/features, and tasks. Be willing to patiently walk on a developmental journey with the rec team (staff and volunteers), that will look unique for each team member, given that several of them will be first-time job-holders. Capable of giving firm-handed guidance when needed, even in the midst of what is a fun-focused culture. Many activities are needed each day, and you must be able to problem solve on the fly and be flexible in many ways. Projects and maintenance/improvement work required, especially in the non-summer months.

Recreation Manager Job Description

Technology Manager

Summary:

To support the operations of the camp by overseeing all aspects of camp’s technology, including audiovisual, networking, web, workstations, servers, file storage/backup, and cybersecurity. Has support for some of these areas from other staff members. Background ministry work that is a part of the kingdom work taking place at camp.

Technology Manager Job Description

TnT (Teens In Training) Coordinator

Summary:

The Teens In Training Program encompasses a large variety of life skills and discipleship activities. This includes; Kitchen and guest services work, Bible Studies, fun outings, devotional times, one-on-one mentoring, and cabin times. In every activity, we want to incorporate Biblical truths that can benefit young people in their faith. The schedule varies week by week based on the group size and the needs of camp. Commitment:

The commitment for this position varies seasonally as described below.

End of May – Beginning of August: Fulltime (Approx 40-48 hrs/week) Lives on-site.
August – December: Part-time (Minimal, approx 4-6hrs/week)
January – Mid-May: Part-time (Varies, approx 4-12 hrs/week)
