Helpful Hints for Visiting Maranatha
The turnoff for Maranatha Road can be tricky to spot if you’re a first-time visitor. Immediately south of the I-80 overpass, take the first turn to the west — landmarks include the road sign for Maranatha Road and a small electrical substation at that corner.
Please be aware that this windy dirt road can be muddy in patches, depending on the weather and time of year. Please proceed slowly and carefully for about 1.5 miles along this road until you reach Maranatha.
Parking: Free parking is available for all events in our main lot near our main retreat facility. Handicapped parking is available.
A note about your electronic devices: Cell reception is poor to non-existent on the Maranatha campus, particularly in our main building. We choose to view this as a positive opportunity for folks to unplug and get away from the world. Please keep that in mind when you plan to visit us!
Pets at camp Beloved though they are, guests bringing pets to Camp can be a point of contention and liability with other guests. With that in mind guests are not encouraged to bring pets to Camp Maranatha. That being said, we understand there are circumstances that dictate families needing to travel with their pets. With this in mind we ask that pets be kept in the camper at night and on a leash during the day kept in the RV site area. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
